Infosecurity Europe, the leading gathering of the information security industry has come to a close.
The three day conference took place 3-5th of June and brought together the cyber security community to share innovation, learn from each other, test and benchmark solutions, build relationships, drive new business and connect with colleagues.
As official media partners of Infosecurity Europe, our editorial team attended the event to speak to industry leaders, experts and key vendors to discuss everything from AI to cybersecurity to data and beyond.
We heard a series of incredible keynotes, including learning about quantum computing from Professor Brian , the geopolitical cyber threat landscape from Rory Stewart and leading the charge for women in cyber from Abadesi Osunsade.
One on one we explored the human element, from Madelein van der Houts insights on user-friendliness and Christopher Fielder's emphasis on a human-centered approach, to Jon Fielding's deep dive into cybersecurity hygiene.
The power of AI was a recurring theme. Antoine Debono enlightened us on using AI to our advantage, while Kev Eley highlighted its role in accelerating investigation and response times through machine learning. Nicholas DiCola even presented the fascinating concept of AI fighting AI.
Our interviewees also tackled the broader landscape of enterprise security. Matthew Quinn and David Higgs underscored the importance of exposure management and visibility, respectively. Pejman Roshan discussed preemptive cyber defenses, and Matthew Butterworth provided a comprehensive view of enterprise security as a whole.
We also gained crucial understanding of managing evolving threats, with Andrew Bolster shedding light on risk and regulatory shifts, Sam Lowe demystifying ethical hacking, and Luke Elston dissecting the complexities of supply chain attacks. Finally, Greg Roberts offered insights on APIs, Piers Morgan explored platformisation, and Chris Thomas guided us through the intricacies of digital transformation.
