For this week’s episode, we headed to Big Data London, an event that took attendees “to intelligence and beyond.” After four years, the event was bigger and better than ever, welcoming pioneers, experts, speakers, exhibitors, and more from all around the globe. While enjoying the event’s electric atmosphere, Max caught up with some industry experts to talk cloud and data. Firstly, he speaks with Abhas Ricky at Cloudera. Abhas delves into the findings of the 4th Industrial Revolution report conducted in conjunction with Cloudera. As well as this, Abhas also discusses the importance of ephemeral workloads. Afterwards, Max spoke with Justyn Goodenough and Pratim Das of Unravel Data and Microsoft respectively. Firstly, Justyn and Pratim detail the relationship between Unravel Data and Microsoft. Then, they discuss the key Big Data tech adoption trends across Europe. Finally, they lend their expertise on approaching the move from on-prem to cloud.
