Google has unveiled Gemini 3.7 Flash AI. The model is lower-cost and designed to support software development and autonomous business workflows.

The launch comes as Google continues to compete with AI leaders including OpenAI and Anthropic, while its more powerful flagship Gemini model remains in development.

Google is positioning Gemini 3.7 Flash as a cost-efficient option for businesses looking to deploy AI agents at scale.
The model is actively designed to handle tasks that go beyond traditional chatbot interactions. This includes planning, tool use and multi-step workflow executions.

Lower Cost for Enterprise AI
Google is offering Gemini 3.7 Flash at an introductory price of $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens through the end of 2026.
The pricing is half the original cost of Gemini 3.6 Flash, potentially making the new model more attractive to businesses running high-volume AI workloads.
For enterprises, the economics of agentic AI are becoming increasingly important. AI agents can require significantly more model interactions than traditional conversational applications as they reason through tasks, call external tools and execute multiple steps.
Lower inference costs could therefore help organisations move agentic AI from experimentation into wider production use.
Gemini 3.7 Flash Arrives in Gemini Spark
The model is also being rolled out immediately to Gemini Spark, Google's subscription-based AI agent service.
Gemini Spark is available to Google AI Pro and Ultra customers across more than 160 countries.
The integration gives users access to the new model within Google's wider agent ecosystem, while also giving developers and businesses another route to experiment with more autonomous AI workflows.
Google Flagship Model Still to Come
Focus remains on the anticipated release of Google's next flagship Gemini model.
Google said in July that Gemini 3.5 Pro was being tested with partners and would be coming "soon". The company has not provided a firm release date.
The delay has been closely watched as Google attempts to maintain its position against an increasingly competitive AI market.
