He adds that if there's a serious incident, Semperis ensures muscle memory and practice so enterprises can defend themselves effectively.
Alluding to the use of AI by threat actors, Lattimer says, “AI is going to be used by a lot of attackers because it quickens the tasks and makes it more efficient.”
AI was probably used in cyberattacks last year to initially or move laterally or ultimately create more efficient code to attack. “The defence ultimately is still the same,” he said.
