Povolny stresses that the current industry landscape is characterised by the rapid speed and scale at which AI and autonomous agents are being deployed, presenting both significant threats and new opportunities.
“The speed and scale of AI, autonomous agents and AI Agents in general are one of the biggest threats and opportunities we have had in the cybersecurity industry in the last 20 years.”
“Just the way the agents are being rolled out at the pace and adoption,” he added. “The way they can scale with the speed of implementation and the accompanying cybersecurity issues are both a concern and an opportunity.”
Povolny tells Dua: “At Exabeam, we’re applying new detections to AI agents; we treat them the same way we do a normal human user and have for the last 15 years.”
