Tech Chat Episode 82: Security Investment and CISO Buying Decisions

In this week's Tech Chat, we're delighted to welcome back Joseph Carson, Chief Security Scientist and Advisory CISO at Thycotic. Some of you may remember Joseph joining us for an Ask the Expert back in April, where he shared his thoughts on setting meaningful tasks for IT security teams. This time, however, Joseph is here to unveil the findings of Thycotic’s global report which investigated what is driving security investment.

In particular, Joseph outlines the ambitions that CISOs have in terms of their spending, as well as the obstacles holding them back from achieving those ambitions. Finally, Joseph explores whether the prioritising of cybersecurity investments will remain the same post-COVID-19.
