The race to develop generative artificial intelligence products is certainly on a roll with new niche solutions emerging nearly every day.
Now, InVideo, the infamous AI video creation platform with over 100 million videos created to date has launched into the AI space.
Earlier today, InVideo introduced its latest model – the V3, an AI model that will allow users to generate full-length videos using a single text prompt.
According to Business Wire, users don’t just create a clip, they create a full-blown story in the form of a video with music, voice, sound effects and graphics or animations.
Users simply have to type in a text in natural language describing the style they want. The AI will generate the video which can be downloaded in formats suitable for YouTube, Shorts/Reels, and LinkedIn.
Users can easily tailor the resulting videos by simply prompting for changes or additions to any part of a clip.
InVideo’s V3 will not only simply generate a video, but it will also be full-length backed with script, footage, voiceovers, music, subtitles, and other options.
“We’re ecstatic to bring AI video generation to our platform as we look to bring new tools to our users, letting you focus on what matters most: your story,” expressed Sanket Shah, founder and CEO of Invideo.
He added that the company’s aim is to lower the barrier to entry for everyday users who want to create high-quality videos and this new feature provides another resource for our users to do just that.
“There are endless possibilities of content to create, from video translation to social posting, UGC ads, and video editors, and we’re excited to see compelling results from our users. It is a new frontier to video creation, we are glad to be pioneering it.”

InVideo AI V3 Crafts Full-Length Videos
Rather than creating its own AI LLM, InVideo used a series of models to interpret prompts and produce videos for the new gen-AI feature.
Shah told TechCrunch that theoretically there’s no upper limit to how long these generated videos can be, but users will be capped at how many generation credits they have. There doesn’t seem to be a free tier.
In a LinkedIn post earlier today [November 14, 2024], the company announced Invideo AI v3.0, stating:
“V3.0 uses generative media to let you craft full-length videos from a single text prompt.”
However, the company is adding a paid plan known as the Generative Plan. While the model is not free it will let users generate 15-minute-long videos for $120 USD per month.
Users will also be able to purchase extra minutes for $8 to $10 per minute on any plan.
“InVideo AI v3.0 is a game-changer,” says Mattvidpro, an influencer in the AI and video space.
“The output quality is top tier and the speed at which you can turn simple text prompts into engaging videos, all using generative AI front to back, is incredible. If you’ve got a vision but you don’t have the time or skills for traditional editing, this tool is for you.”
