UnitedHealth Says BlackCat Behind Change Healthcare Cyber Attack
Smiles and celebrations are most certainly in order for the teams at Attivo Networks after the company swept up not one but three wins at this year’s Network Product Guide’s IT World Awards®.
The cyber deception leader received recognition for its insider threat detection, endpoint security, and active directory protection solutions. In particular, the Attivo ThreatDefend® platform scored the company a gold in insider threat detection, as well as a silver in endpoint security. These accolades acknowledge the platform’s ability to quickly and reliably detect unauthorised threat activity and to boost endpoint detection performance (by 42% on average).
Attivo was also awarded a silver in the New Product-Service of the Year category with ADSecure, a solution which delivers revolutionary protection technology for hiding and denying access to active directory objects.
We asked Carolyn Crandall, Attivo’s Chief Deception Officer and CMO, what she made of the wins:
"Receiving silver awards in both the Endpoint Security category and the New Product-Service of the Year category for the Attivo ADSecure solution validates the Attivo vision to build innovative security solutions for protecting today’s expanded attack surfaces,” said Carolyn. “The ThreatDefend® Platform taking home gold in the Insider Threat Detection Solutions category is another outstanding testament to the platform’s value in efficiently stopping both external and internal threat actors. We are honored to have received these three prestigious awards."
This is not Attivo’s first Network Product Guide success. In 2016, the company also received an award in the insider threat detection and solutions category in recognition of the Attivo Deception Platform. However, given the heightened importance of cybersecurity amid the remote-working boom, perhaps there’s something extra special about the wins this year.
