At Qlik, Mike's mission to drive the company mission of building a more 'data-literate' world. Fortunately, Capone’s professional history puts him in the perfect position to achieve that goal. After earning his BSc in Computer Science from Dickinson College and his MBA in Finance from Pace University, Mike then began his exciting career. Mike’s first role in the tech landscape was as the VP of Corporate IP for ADP. Over a 15-year career with the company, Capone built his way up through the ranks. During his time there, he claimed the role of SVP and General Manager, then Head of Product Development and CIO. When Mike decided to move on to a new company, he took the role of Chief Operating Officer for Medidata solutions, where he played a critical role in the company’s professional services and product development. Medidata is a publicly traded provider of SaaS analytics offerings in the life sciences, pharma, and healthcare environments. Mike’s experience in this area allowed him to accelerate and deepen his understanding of the data marketplace.

Throughout a long and impressive professional history, Capone has held numerous leadership positions. What's more, through various opportunities, he has been able to expand his knowledge of the data landscape. As well as being Qlik's CEO, Capone also sits on the board of directors for the Ellie Mae brand and Dynatrace too. Additionally, Mike has volunteer experience from acting as Chair of the Foundation Board of Trustees for Montclair State University. He also has experience as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Beat AML Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
