Business communication and collaboration company PGi recently welcomed Rick Mace as CEO in July. Mace moved into the new position as a proven leader in technology, with more than 30 years of experience behind him. Now, he will be responsible for the company's global operations and strategic direction.
An Extensive History in Technology
Before embarking on his career, Rick earned his Bachelor's degree in Marketing from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. As today's CEO at PGi, Rick has, of course, come a long way. However, Rick's appointment at PGi is far from his first CEO rodeo. Rather, Mace has held numerous senior roles in his career, including CEO at Package Exchange Ltd, PakNetx, and Network Programs (later acquired by DSET). What's more, Rick has also taken a seat on numerous Boards of Directors, including those for Kentrox, Wireless Telecom Group Inc, and Tekelec Corp.
Most recently, Mace was an Executive Partner with the Siris Capital Partners Group. Her held a position with this company for over 9 years, before eventually moving to join PGi.
Today, Rick continues to play an active part in the communications and technology landscape. He is currently a member of the board of directors for Hakissa.com, as well as Digital River, and Transaction Network Services. Mace also stands as a Managing Partner for Mace Cruising LLC.
