This year, we're celebrating International Women's Week by showcasing a woman who has accomplished amazing things in technology. Jaymie Scotto Cutaia is the CEO of Jaymie Scotto & Associates and an inspirational tech figure. As CEO, she oversees every aspect of the JSA business, which offers marketing and PR solutions to the tech and telecoms industries. What's more, Jaymie is also the CEO and founder of the TEX Portal. This online executive networking platform links innovative minds in the content, technology and telecom ecosystems. A CEO Offering Inspiration and Innovation
Jaymie Scotto Cutaia has accomplished many impressive things during her career. As CEO of JSA, she handles everything from product execution to board management. What's more, Jaymie also uses her experience in marketing and technology to deliver exceptional content strategies. Before she founded both JSA and the TEX Portal, Jaymie was the director of marketing and PR for Telx. She worked for the premier colocation and interconnection company in the US for 2 years, supporting it's strategic marketing objectives. Jaymie also used her time with Telx to develop her skills in journalism, event planning, and public relations. Prior to her employment at Telx, Jaymie also held the role of Producer at MSNBC. Her position at the 24-hour national news organization allowed her to recognize and develop her writing skills and research talents. Jaymie Scotto Cutaia even earned an Emmy for her coverage of the terror attacks on September 11th when working with MSNBC. Before her career began, Jaymie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University. She also received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from the New York University.
Leadership with a Philanthropic Spirit
It isn't just Jaymie's success in the business world that makes her an inspiration to future generations. Scotto-Cutaia also participates in numerous philanthropic endeavors too. She's a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) where she encourages other female entrepreneurs to follow in her footsteps. Jaymie also serves as part of the Forbes Agency council, where she shares valuable industry insights and stories with people all across the globe. Even Jaymie's company, JSA has it's own corporate responsibility initiative. The "JSA Gives Back" program encourages members to dedicate at least 40 hours each year to community service. Over the years, the JSA family has supported foundations like Develop Africa, American Red Cross, Komen for the Cure and more.
